For sale is this great, circa 1940's 10k Gold and Emeralds Thai Princess Ring. It measures 5/8" wide and sits 1/2" off the finger. The pretty emeralds are both bezel set and bead set and all are original and intact. The ring has the typical multi part construction as can be seen by the back assembly. The original, circa WWII rings all have this type of construction and the rings were brought back by servicemen at the time. Of course, some jewelry designers were not very honest as evidenced by the 18k hallmark inside this ring. The setting tests as 10k gold and the last two tiers of emeralds are silver tipped. The ring weighs 5.2 grams, is currently a size 6 1/4 and has one small flaw on the inside of the band. There is a break that in no way affects the setting (see picture).
