For sale is this circa 1940's, solid sterling silver U.S. Army man's ring. The setting measures 3/4" from north to south and has an eagle on front. The shoulders of the ring have a full eagle on each side. The ring weighs 12.4 grams, is currently a size 10 and has its original warm patina. It is engraved inside MIZPAH 12-25-44. Mizpah has several meanings, but I'm sure in this instance it means God's Speed, Take Care or I'm Thinking of You. As you can see the shank has a crack. It is not completely separated and I felt that it should remain in this condition and not be repaired as it gives the ring character.
