For sale is this custom made, 18k white gold diamond Belais watch case that a jeweler has ingeniously attached to a 14k white gold & diamond filigree bracelet. The principal is that occasionally watches have a tendency to flip on the wrist and when this one does flip.....the beautiful diamond and filigree bracelet appears! The watch case measures 3/4" wide and is set with fourteen, clean, white 2 point diamonds. The 17j Bulova movement is running and keeping time, but as with all very old wind up watches, it could probably use a cleaning. The 14k white gold filigree band is set with five diamonds: four 0.05 point diamond and one large 1/4 carat diamond on the 7/16" wide centerpiece. The total carat weight of all the diamonds is approximately 3/4 carats and the 1/4 carat diamond grading is: VVS-1, J. The watch case and band (movement removed and not included in weight) weighs 14.1 grams (18k & 14k) and the clasp works perfectly with a safety. No dents, dings, damage or repairs. It measures 6 3/4" long (measurement does not include tongue on clasp) and will comfortably fit wrists measuring up to 6 1/2". Watch band and case date to the 1920's, movement dates to the 1960's.
