Offered is an Antique Bradley & Hubbard Banquet Lamp with a Etched 'Griffin' Satin Glass ball shade.
There are wreaths around the top of the lamp, and bell flower garlands running down the sides of the column. The octagonal base has flaming urns and flames around the outer edge. The pictures do not do this lamp justice - in person it is stunning!
Measures 31"H overall. 16-3/4"H to the top of the base only. The base is 8-1/2" from flat side to flat side.
Everything appears to be original on this lamp, with the exception of the period shade, which is old and impressive, and the 12" chimney. The central draft font has the original B&H flame spreader and filler cap, and should easily support combustion once a wick is added - the font has never been electrified.
The lamp is in very good condition, with minimal wear to the brass plating on the column. The bottom of the base has wear to the plating (you can see if was 'cleaned' off over the past 100+ years, and some lacquer was applied to prevent further wear. The font holder part of the lamp is brass and has some spots, but no dents or cracks. The etched shade is perfect.
