Offered is a darling set of enameled glass cylinder kerosene lamps, depicting a boy, who looks willing to 'go out on a limb' with his basket to catch some crows in their nest. Fortunately for the crows, they are out just a little beyond the boys reach - even when using his hat!
The enameling is on top of a coffee colored glass, and is in great condition. Both W&W (Wild & Wessel) #8 Kosmos Burners appear to be in workable condition, although they don't move with the old dry wicks. They will likely need to soak in oil to get the old wicks out for replacement. The wick turner wheels are the only thing marked (W&W Kosmos), and these are definitely European, perhaps French or German based on the style. The brass bases have a few dings, which is no surprise considering they are more than 100 years old! The glass chimneys are good quality replacements. No cracks or chips to any glass.
They measure 20" overall, about 11-3/4"H without chimneys, 4-1/2"W at bases, and about 3-1/4"W at the cylinders.
