Offered is a late 19th century hanging light fixture. It features 6 delicate, gilded brass arms mounted to a cased pink opaline glass bowl form body.
The center bowl features a crown-cut top with gilt border. The gilded metal is scroll-form with foliate detailing. Around the end of each arm are 6 hand-cut spear crystal prisms.
Appears to have been originally candle, but was professionally wired for electric at some point in the not too distant past. The inside still has the original candle holder, but is now lit with two standard size bulbs.
Measures 39"L x 25"W. Could probably be made about 8" shorter by removing a length of rod from each hanger. The pink centerpiece measures about 13"W.
There are no cracks or chips to the glass. The gilding on the metal parts is in great shape as well. The wiring is in perfect working order.
