Offered is this diminutive Dante bronze. Appears to be numbered 10 of 75, though it is difficult to tell for sure - the 75 is over the 10 as one can see in the photos on the back.
It sits atop a chrome plated brass or bronze plinth. The plinth appears to be held to the bust by a screw, which can be seen in the small hole on the base.
Weighs a whopping 4.6 pounds, which would also make it a great paperweight. Based on the patina on Dante's head, and the wear on the bottom, it's possible that someone had used it for that purpose in the past.
Sure to please, whether you keep in on your desk or displayed in a cabinet.
Measures about 7-1/8"H x 2-5/8"W at the shoulders. The plinth itself is 3"h x 2"w.
The plinth shows wear on the chrome in some spots, especially on the bottom, and a tiny nick or two on the back, but overall still shines and displays really well.
