Offered is an Antique Burmese Glass Biscuit Jar with Silver Plated Mounts. Likely made by Thomas Webb, as the silver plated rim, handle and lid is hallmarked (J T & Co. S - EPNS) by John Turton & Co of Sheffield.

The enameling includes a butterfly on the front (appears to be some enamel loss to front butterfly), and a blue butterfly on back, and gold florals.

No cracks or chips on the glass. All of the metal parts are present and in good shape, but silver plate is pretty worn on the exterior.

Measures 9"H with handle, 5"H to top of jar, 6-1/4"W at handle, and 5-1/4"W at rim.
