Offered is a vintage Maitland Smith Tessellated Marble side table.
Made in the 1970s or early 1980s of tessellated marble. These tables are substantial in weight and appearance - they just feel so solid. The marble is essentially seamless on a wood base. The top and base have a brass inlay.
The brass inlay has a little age related tarnish, but no chips or cracks in the marble. Close inspection reveals no repairs.
Measures 19"W overall, 25"H. The width of the brass circle on top is 14-5/8". The base is inset at 17-1/2"W.
