Offered is a pair of elegant, mid-1900s Italian made brass lamps with shades of tired cut crystal spears. Essentially, the shades resemble the top two tiers of a chandelier, with a row of beads strung around the top. Each lamp has more than 100 4-inch cut crystal spears in the two rows of the shade, 6 8-inch spear crystals around the center and 3 fancy crystals on the top finial. They are made of solid brass, with marble bases.
Each lamp can be adjusted at the top, to raise the shade to your desired position. They were photographed at the lowest position. To adjust you loosen the collar, raise the shade holder and tighten the collar.
They measure: 16-1/4"W at the shades, in the lowest position of the shade holder they are 37"H, and raised up they are about 41"H. At the plate for he sockets they measure 6"W. The bases are 4-5/8" Square.
Each lamp hold 6 bulbs (60W max), with the 3-way switches operating 3 lights, the other 3 lights, or all 6 at once.
Fixtures in this style are generally scarce. Of this quality they are even more scarce to find intact and in this condition.
Will be shipped with all crystals removed and securely packaged. Has some tarnish on the brass base above the marble. Rewired and ready to use.
