Offered is a High Quality Antique Silver Plate Chandelier with Long Black Fringe and 3 Lights. This fixture came from a mansion on Riverside Drive in Wilkes Barre, PA (personally removed by us, about 6 years ago).
The silverplate is over solid brass, and is in very good condition. There was originally a fiber gasket attached to the canopy, so there a few small holes around the outside, but you will not notice them when installed.
The three bulbs are concealed only by the fringe, so there is a fair amount of light emitted from the bottom. Clear bulbs (60W x 3 Max due to the fringe) will look most appropriate.
I believe there was originally a thin wire retaining ring for the fringe, but that is long lost. The replacement fringe is held in with adhesive. Has been completely rewired for many years of trouble free service.
Measures about 18"L to the bottom of the 5-1/2" fringe. Width is about 17".
