Companion volume to My Bookhouse series. Publisher: The Book House for Children, Chicago, copyright 1916, was not published until 1926, true first edition-3rd printing. Not ex-library.

True first edition printings, identified by small number at bottom of copyright page. Original first edition, dustjacket was not issued. Not a later printing.
Heavy quarto hardcover, bright orange buckram boards (leatherette), pictorial pastedown, brilliant gilt decoration & titles. Illustrations excellent. 192 quality cardstock pages, 11" x 8". Tight binding. Excellent vintage condition. Cover excellent/bright/clean-light shelfwear-spine faded-gilt bright. Pages near fine overall/bright/clean/most unused-light wear-3/4" pp bottom tear, 1pp-side 1pp-not on illustrations. Few pp occasional small light spots.
