The monk is a symbol that represents the city of Munich, Germany. This vintage 8K beer stein charm depicts a monk dressed in a cowl with an open hood and a red halo above his head. His arms are outstretched and there is a book in one hand. This image sits inside a traditionally shaped coat of arms design. The word MUNCHEN, which means "of monks', is written at the top. The rest of the stein has an ornate floral like design. The lid opens and shuts tightly. The charm weighs 2.3 grams and measures 7/8" in length x 7/16" in width and 11/16" in width including the handle. The bottom is stamped with the maker's mark initials SF and 333, which is equivalent to 8K. Consistent with time and wear, there are the normal minor surface scratches, but overall, the charm is in very good condition. Please see the pictures for a closer look.
