Legend has it that the claddagh ring is worn to convey the wearer's romantic availability, or lack thereof. This vintage 9k claddagh ring charm has the distinctive design featuring 2 hands clasping a heart surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love, the heart; friendship, the hands; and loyalty, the crown. It would look great on a bracelet or a necklace. The charm weighs 1.0 gram and measures 9/16" in length x 5/8" in width. The back is stamped with the maker's mark initials, OCL and the #'s 417. It was tested with acid and held at 9K. There are the normal minor surface scratches due to time and wear, but overall, the charm is in very good condition. For a closer inspection, please take a look at the pictures.
