The leprechaun is a figure in Irish folklore that is said to store all his coins in a hidden pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. This vintage 9K leprechaun charm fits the stereotype well, for he is clad in long square-cut coat, pointed shoes, and a stocking-like cap. He displays the typical withered face and long beard. He weighs 2.7 grams and measures 5/8" in length x 2/8" in width. He is stamped on the side, but it is worn and difficult to read; therefore, it was tested with acid and it held at 9K. There are minor surface scratches due to time and wear, but overall, the charm is in very good condition.
