This style brooch seems to be timeless and a true classic from the mid 20th century. Set in marked 14K yellow gold, it features 16 cultured pearls and four genuine emeralds. The post set 4mm pearls have a great luster, are just slightly off white in color and perfectly matched. Each of the emeralds are prong set, also well matched and measure approximately .16 carats.
Measurement: 1 1/8" in diameter.
Marks: stamped twice, once on the frame 14K with a house trademark and also 14K on the safety clasp.
Condition: Excellent, all original, no repairs or blemishes to note. In one of the photos one of the emeralds appears to have a chip, but it is just a reflection.
This piece of vintage jewelry has far more life to it than my photographs portray.
