This is a wonderful sterling silver charm bracelet with 10 travel charms dating to the 1950's-1960's. From left to right as pictured they are: 1. A figural miner panning for gold, with a sterling banner which reads Cripple Creek, CO, both pieces are stamped Sterling with a JP trademark. 2. A cut-out disc embossed and depicting The Grand Hotel with a tag which reads Mackinac Island, Michigan. The back of the disc is stamped GRAND HOTEL with a company trademark and STERLING. 3. A world globe souvenir from the New York City World's Fair of 1964, stamped with company trademarks and tests sterling. 4. A souvenir disc from The Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, Dearborn Michigan, shows a tower and a car against a textured background. Stamped RS PROV STERLING SILVER on the back. 5. A figural airplane, jumbo jet with movable wheels, stamped sterling on the underside. 6. A movable disc souvenir from the Sears Tower in Chicago, IL, the front has a nice blue enamel rim around the embossed tower. The disc flips around on it's frame. Both the frame and disc are stamped sterling. 7. A figural teepee with the front flap open, a souvenir with a tag which reads Manitou Spring Colorado. Inside the teepee it is stamped with a trademark and sterling. 8. A modern chair souvenir with a banner label attached which reads Lake Placid, NY. I believe it's a skiers chair lift. Stamped sterling on both pieces and the JP trademark on the banner. 9. A souvenir from Hawaii depicting a totem pole. The attached banner is marked Hawaii and the totem is stamped STER. 10. A souvenir of San Francisco, the famous cable car on a movable turnstile. Stamped San Francisco and Sterling on the bottom. All of the charms are in very good plus condition and are soldered to the bracelet so they will not come off by accident.
The bracelet itself has links that are three loops with two ball accents on either side. This makes a great link to add many many more charms to! It has a nice clinking sound when worn.
Overall it measures 7 1/4" long by just under 1/2" wide. It has a wide tongued clasp which snaps securely with an additional safety catch and safety chain. The back of the bracelet clasp is also stamped sterling. The overall weight is 45.2 grams.
