This is a vintage 14K gold charm (I can not find a gold stamp, so I have tested this charm and it held at 14K gold) that is a replica of the USCGA Eagle sailing ship, which is homeported at the CG Academy in New London, Connecticut. It is the only active (operational) commissioned sailing vessel in the U.S. maritime services. The name is engraved on the side of the ship. On the bottom is the manufacturer's mark which I believe is KINVF? This is a solid charm and weighs approximately 5.8 grams. It measures 15/16" long and 11/16" high. The charm is in very good condition with the normal small dings and scratches due to usage. A unique piece!
