Loetz Deco Period lamp with applied blue Papillon flowers
This unusual lamp shows some of the typical late decors Loetz was producing in the 1920-1930's. The most obvious decoration is the blue Papilon flowers on the shade and base. These were applied to an opalescent ground that has Schneeflocken decoration (German for snowflake) as well as controlled bubble inclusions. It stands 8" tall by 7 3/4" wide. Excellent condition with a flake at the wiring exit hole and slight rim chips typical of the area where the shade sits upon the base, invisible upon use. Excellent working condition
