Circa 1900-02 and standing overall 12" tall by 6" wide. The glass was finely ribbed and its decor is similar to Loetz Papillon but very different in its application and color combination. As such its current Loetz classification is "Unknown Phänomen Genre" Three of the six peaks in the glass match the location of the three handles on the mount. Each peak is perfect without flaw or modification. Without question the mount was created specifically as a marriage to the glass. The vase is in excellent, as made condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. The mount is in the same, as made condition.
One photo is from Das Böhmische Glas Band 4 showing the same decor in a different shape and mount. The very last photo shows a matching vase in a gold brushed mount as it was sold at auction in Vienna in 2012
