Made circa 1850, this is a genuine 15K gold Victorian jewelry set. The pendant has a loop on top, but is missing the bale. The pin assembly works perfectly. Hardly used, this set is in pristine, original condition, with no repairs at all. The gemstones are Almandine Garnets, Amethysts, and colorless Chrysoberyl or paste, claw-set, and gold-washed. The main brooch body measures 1&1/2" wide by 1" top to bottom, plus the two dangle components, bringing the total top to bottom measurement to just over 1&3/4". The Earrings measure just over 1&1/2" long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the dangle, and are 5/8" across. The wires have the original spring action, again, probably hardly used. The total weight of the set is 7.4 grams. The largest gem is in the center, and measures 7 by 5 mm. All gemstones have the original, unblemished polished finish, with lots of sparkle. Original box is included, it has a small tear on the top of it. There are no stamps or markings on the jewelry, as was often done in the day. Items have been tested for gold content.
