A Lusterware Biscuit Jar with a Wicker Handle and beautifully hand painted flowers. The Biscuit Jar has 8 sides and was produced in the 1940's in Japan. The flowers and tree are shades of orange, yellow and green. It is octagon shaped and stands 5 3/4 inches tall and is 4 3/4 inches across. The bottom is marked: "Made in Japan". The top has a crack that is visible in the pictures, it is quite smooth and does not go all the way across. The wicker handle is in excellent condition.
