As I found this so pretty early all wooden doll I fall in love with her in a second , her complete expression is
absolute fantastic and her face so charming that it seems she can speak with you and tell you her story of her long life !!!! :)

She is an early very well preserved fashionable Lady from around 1830 / 40th. century with one piece wooden head and torso ,
has plump round shaped face and rounded dome with short throat .

She has an carved definition of bosom and high waist on torso. Her hair is black painted and has fine shaded parts onto her
forehead . Very charming facial complexion with pale cheek blush , painted small blue eyes with black single brows .
Closed mouth with hint of smile and lovely pointed nose .

The doll has her original wooden limbs with dowel jointing at shoulders , elbows , hips and knees ............ lovely carved shovel hands
with single thumb , painted white lower legs like stocking and black small long flat slippers .

Her complete condition is generally excellent .... and so very good about her high age .
Attributed to made in Germany like an early and rare large Grodnertal Doll about 20" ( 52 cm )

Wearing very beautiful early two piece silk gown in pale green with light blue stomacher and bustle at back on skirt and jacket ....
has fine silk fray decoration . Included an very nice and so funny felt hat which give her the finishing touch of charming :)
Her pretty silk costume is very fragile so that we prefer to don´t un-dress the doll
about not to destroy it.... thank you for your understand .

We included to the doll an early wooden chair with green and red silk and velvet cover , has condition as is . The fit very nice together
and with the chair the wooden doll is ready to display ......

Rare to find and heart melting early doll ...... a treasure for your collection !!!
