~~~ Superb 1860 French Fine Linen Poupee Costume for Huret era Early Fashion Doll ~~~

Very beautiful all original antique two piece fashion gown from Huret era around 1858 / 60 .... an superb longer jacket along
and pretty enfantine skirt.
All hand sewn and in generally excellent condition to age and rare outfit which included and stunning
jacket of light brown silk linen with finest soutach trim decoration around sleeves and jacket hem .

The jacket or over short over dress has long pagoda sleeves and rounded neckline . Has front closure at upper front and side with
button and hand made button holes. One button replaced ... all other original .
Has rounded hem at front and fine ruffled longer sides and back which little bustle. Wonderful all hand made soutach decoration around jacket hem and hand made embroidery around hem edged.

Along a very nice dark brown silk linen skirt with bustle longer train in back , has small box pleated part around wrist
and pretty ruffled row around skirt hem.
All hand sewn as well and has back closure with hook and eyes.

A most beautiful early fashion gown for your early poupee , has good condition to age .... note small melting at back side of jacket and skirt... please see my pictures.
