A lovely plate with a fabulous, fully molded edge, it was most probably made in 1893, the year that the Reinhold factory did not mark its work. The luxury of this piece is notable in the substantial use of gold paint around the top lip and interior of the bowl and the extravagant painting of the flowers below the fancifully molded lip. The hand painted roses at the base of the bowl are mint green softly pink. A truly whimsical antique.
Dimensions: 10.5" Diameter 3.5" Depth
Condition: Excellent overall, with no cracks, chips or restoration to the porcelain. The gold transfer has rubbed off partially in the bowl's interior, most of the top lip gold remains. A few paint skips the size of pin-flakes are present, but explicitly showed in the photographs.
