She has a bisque socket head, with brown glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, thick feathered brown brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth, a lightly dimpled chin, and pierced ears with earrings. She stands at 17” tall on her stamped, original wood and composition body, and wears an antique pale blond mohair wig.


She wears a darling antique white cotton dress with two tiered belle lace sleeves, adorned with drawnwork lace, and a striped and dotted pattern within the weave of the cotton. Underneath, she wears a white cotton full slip with lace at the hem and a pair of white cotton pantaloons with scalloped lace at the hem. On her feet are a pair of black socks and a pair of antique black oilcloth shoes with white ribbon ties. On her head is a vintage white straw hat with a light pink silk ribbon band that matches the sash around her waist. In her ears are a pair of white and coral colored drop earrings and on her chest is a white enamel bar pin with a blue flower enamel accent at the center.

CONDITION: Generally excellent. The bisque head is free of any cracks, chips, hairlines, or restoration, with wonderful quality bisque and expertly molded and painted features. The eyes have been re-waxed and refitted. The original wood and composition body has a small knee repair and some typical age wear, but otherwise retains its original shiny finish and color. The costume is wonderful, antique and in beautiful condition overall.
