She has a bisque socket head, with blue glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, feathered honey blonde brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth. She stands at 23.5” on her original antique fully-jointed wood and composition body, and wears an antique honey blonde human hair wig styled in loose curls.

She's dressed in an endearing antique pink gingham dress with a white flounce at the hem, cuffs and collar. Underneath, she wears an antique white cotton full slip with lace at the collar, and a pair of antique white cotton pantaloons that ties at the hips and has crochet lace at the hem. On her feet are a pair of white knit socks and black oil cloth shoes with black ribbon ties. In her hair are a set of pink silk bows at her temples.

MARKS: Simon & Halbig/ GB/ A [incised, back of head]

CONDITION: Excellent! The bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration, with top-quality painting and modeling of features. The original glass eyes sleep well, and are aligned nicely in the head. The eyes have been re-waxed and reset. The hands have some scuffs and a re-glued finger but the body is clean and in good condition. The costume is in pristine condition and fits her well. This wonderful German dolly is quite a beauty! Don’t let her be the one that got away!
