She has a bisque socket head, with blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes and thick mohair upper lashes , feathered blonde brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth, a dimpled chin, and pierced ears. She stands at 22” on her original antique fully-jointed wood and composition stamped Handwerck body, and wears an antique blonde mohair wig styled in tight curls.

She's dressed in a gorgeous antique white cotton dress, with a blue embroidered accent on the chest, a ruched panel on the belly, and a lace trimmed collar. Underneath, she wears an antique ribbed white cotton under shirt with insertion ribbon at the collar, an antique cotton flounced half slip and pair of light pink, lace trimmed pantaloons. On her feet are a pair of white cotton socks and peach oil cloth shoes with blue laces and peach rosettes. On her head is an antique white bonnet with lace trim, pin tucks and two ornate gathered rosette ribbon bows at her ears; in her ears are a pair of earrings with blue rhombus glass beads.

CONDITION: Excellent! The bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration, with top-quality painting and modeling of features. The original glass eyes sleep well, and are aligned nicely in the head. The body has some areas of age wear, but retains its original shiny finish and original stamp. The costume is in overall great shape, with only minor and typical wear; there is a small stain on the dress. This wonderful German dolly is quite a beauty! Don’t let her be the one that got away!
