If you've been waiting for a sweet mechanical walking doll, look no further!~ This delightful, cabinet-ready girl is just a gem! What do we love the most about her? Well, just about everything, starting with her overall features and demeanor. She really has something special about her face. But what is extraordinary about her is her fabulous Key-Wind mechanical walking body! Just wind the key, hold her at the waist and with a little downward pressure on her feet activates a realistic walking motion. What a complete delight this little cherub is.

~This lovely girl is available on layaway! Take up to 8 months to pay for her. Give us a call anytime to hear a personalized, in- hand description of her fabulous condition, or to discuss layaway options at 718.859.0901.

She has a bisque socket head with dark blue glass sleep eyes, real upper lashes and painted lower lashes, molded and feathered brown brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth, pierced ears, and a dimpled chin. She stands at 16.5” on her original walker body with straight arms and legs and jointed wrists, and wears her original brown human hair wig.

She wears a modern-made mauve silk dress, with a ruched lavender center panel framed in mauve lace, mauve silk ruffles at the sleeves and collar, and a dropped waist pleated skirt with mauve and white lace overlay. Underneath, she wears an antique white cotton half slip with scalloped and eyeleted embroidery at the hem, and a pair of antique white cotton pantaloons with lace trim. On her feet are a pair of white knit stockings and pink faux leather shoes with rosettes at the toes. On her head is a pink straw hat with a black band and fuchsia faux flowers. She wears her winding key on a mauve ribbon around her neck or over her shoulder.

MARKS: SH 1039 / Germany / DEP / 7 1/2

CONDITION: Excellent! She has excellent quality bisque with expert painting of features, crisp modeling and gentle coloring, The glass eyes sleep well and are aligned well in the head, and the string lashes are full. The original body is likely a Roulet & Descamps body, but the key has been replaced, and the body has been repainted. The costume is wonderful, and fits her well. A real Charmer—she would be a perfect companion for any doll in your collection as well as the sensation of your doll club!! She is a very wonderful example of this very desirable French doll!
