Sweet 18” C.M. Bergmann in Green and White Frock

CM Bergmann brings you this charming bisque child doll, bound to please! She has a beautiful bisque head, with big blue glass sleep eyes, a cute open mouth, and her original-finish body. She’s adorned in a cute antique-style dress, and topped by a soft ginger red mohair wig. She’s in great condition and reasonably priced, so snatch her up now!

She has a bisque socket head, with painted and molded features: blue glass sleep eyes, real blond upper and painted lower lashes, raised brown brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth, pierced ears, and a dimpled chin, with blushed features. She stands at 18” on her original fully-jointed wood and composition body, and wears a fluffy ginger red mohair wig, styled in curls.

She wears a modern-made green and white silk frock. The bodice is in a creamy white ribbed silk, with a lace-trimmed jacket detail in the front, filled with sage green silk and a matching collar; the dropped waist has a gathered sage green sash, and a pleated sage green skirt with white lace on top and a layer of flat green silk underneath. Under her dress, she wears an antique white cotton half slip and a pair of pantaloons with lace trim. On her feet are a pair of white knit stockings and white leather boots with faux pearl buttons. On her head is a big tan felt hat, with a big white bow on the front.

CONDITION: Generally excellent. The bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. The facial modeling and painting is top-notch, offering a cute doll face. The glass eyes sleep well. The body is good, with only the most minor and typical age wear; the original finish is still present, and the stringing is good. The costume is generally excellent, with only minor and typical wear; they are especially well made! The wig is soft and supple and fits well. Overall, this is a beautiful doll!
