A heart-flutter worthy undergarment for the lady who exudes panache and class, one of your best dolls will be delighted with this delicate slip! The bottom half of this lovely slip is covered in the most exquisite and intricate hand embroidery and drawn-work. The amount of work that went into this richly detailed, absolutely intricate embroidered slip is simply astounding! I love this slip and know that you will cherish it in your collection. From the structure of the piece to the intricate nature of the embroidery, this piece will bring the value of your favorite girl's wardrobe to a new level.
Made of antique white cotton, the entire bottom half of this slip is done in hand-embroidered drawnwork. It is decorated with a pattern of windowpaned squares and elongated windowpaned ovals, with four-petaled open florets at the corners of the pattern. The hem is delicately scalloped, with whitework embroidery and three drop-shaped open petals in each scallop. Take a close look at the pictures to see just how painstaking the work must have been to go into this piece!
Length: 7 1/2"
Condition: Excellent. There is some minor and expected age wear, including discoloration and minor staining. The embroidery is in excellent condition, with no damage, lost stitching, and if any repair has been done it is completely undetectable, even to the eye of an experienced embroiderer. Wonderful if you are looking for an extraordinary slip for an extraordinary doll.

**We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we want them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!** LBP 5/25/20
