Bisque socket head, with original brown glass fixed eyes and painted lashes, brown feathered flat brows, and an open mouth with four upper teeth. Dimpled chin and lightly-blushed cheeks, with overall pale complexion. She stands on her original antique body with stick legs, at 17" tall, with tight stringing. She wears a lovely red mohair wig that comes down to her shoulders in thick curls.
She wears a beautiful antique-style white cotton/satin and lace dress with two tiered lace skirt. Underneath goes a pair of antique white cotton flared pantaloons, white socks and white leather high button boots. In her hair id a lovely cream silk bow. pantaloons. White cotton knit socks adorn her feet, along with a pair of cream faux leather shoes. A straw hat sits atop her head.
Marks: 1894 / A M 3 / DEP [back of head, incised]
Condition: Excellent. The bisque head is overall very nice, with no hairlines or restoration. Some very minor soil to the inner eyes and corners, but this is no big deal and can be cleaned easily. The wood & composition original stick-leg body has its original finish, with some moderate wear at the joints, and some touch-up here and there. The costume is good, with nice presentation and no major wear issues. Overall, she's a lovely doll!
