She stands at 29” tall, with a bisque socket head, with painted and molded features: blue glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, real upper lashes, raised feathered brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth, and a very lightly dimpled chin, with blushed features. She has her original fully-jointed antique wood & composition body, in the child style. She wears a soft brown mohair wig, in a curly style.
She wears a sheer white dress, decorated all over with white embroidery in a floral motif, with scalloping at the hem and sleeves, over an attached peach-pink underdress. The bodice has pink insertion ribbon at the collar, waist, and halfway up the torso, in thin embroidered panels, and the lower part of the bodice is ruched. Insertion ribbon also decorates the sleeves. Underneath, she wears a white cotton full slip, with three stripes of applied lace on the skirt, and a scalloped hem, and a pair of white cotton pantaloons with lace trim. On her feet are a pair of white knit socks and white satin shoes decorated with lace. The ensemble is topped off by a straw hat, covered in pleated white lace, and decorated with a pink feather, a pink silk rose, and a pale pink silk bow.

CONDITION: Generally excellent. The bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. The facial modeling and painting is top-notch, offering a cute doll face. The glass eyes sleep well. The body is good, with only the most minor and typical age wear; the original finish is still present, and the stringing is good. The costume is generally excellent, with only minor and typical wear, especially for antique clothing! The wig is soft and supple and fits well. Overall, this is a beautiful doll!
*Please note that the price shown for this doll was calculated by factoring in the doll’s condition carefully. The doll’s condition is described fully in the "Condition" paragraph above. Any damage or flaws are carefully evaluated as to the manner in which they may reduce the retail value of this item. Unless there is some major issue we overlooked in the condition report, we decline to entertain any proposals for price reductions due to a less than perfect condition report. Most dolls that are over 100 years old will have encountered issues over the years and perfection is rare when it comes to antiques.
