She has a bisque shoulder head, with a pale complexioned face modeled in the Kestner style (probably a 154 mold.) She has brown glass set eyes, with painted upper and lower lashes and tapered brown brows, and an open mouth with four square-cut teeth. She stands at 11.5” tall on her original gusseted kidskin body, with bisque arms and composition legs. She has her original blond mohair wig, styled in an elaborate curled updo.

She wears her original antique outfit in the Gibson-girl fashion: a brown silk blouse, with black velvet trim at the sleeves and waist and an oval gold filled antique pin, and a black velvet skirt. Underneath, she wears a matching white cotton half slip and pantaloons set, both with lace edging. On her feet, she wears black socks and black leather shoes. The ensemble is topped off with a spray of silk flowers in her hair.

MARKS: 10 [right arm, no visible marks on head] but she is likely marked 154 at the base of the plate hidden under the kidskin

CONDITION: Generally good. Lovely creamy bisque with expert painting of features, very crisp modeling, pleasant color, nice eyes and a sweet expression. The head is free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration, but the condition under the wig and under the patches at the shoulders is unknown, as they have not been removed. The kidskin body has moderate age wear, and has been patched at the shoulders and chest, which partially overlaps the bisque. The bisque hands have some discoloration, but are free of chips and cracks. The big toe and heel of the right foot, and all toes of the left foot are typically chipped as often happens with composition limbs. The costume is in excellent condition, and suits her well. Overall, a darling little lady!
