She wears a rose pink dress with white lace trim, a cream cotton full slip, sleeveless, a pair of white pantaloons, and white socks with white faux leather shoes.
MARKS: SFBJ 60 PARIS Ga [back of head, incised]
CONDITION: Generally excellent. The bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. The glass eyes sleep well, and have good pupil alignment. The bisque face does have a few minor pepper marks and mold imperfection specks; these are inherent to the bisque, and are not uncommonly found in the smaller French dolls. The body has some minor wear, with some paint touchups here and there, and to the fingers of the right hand. The surface composition to the right foot has flaked off a bit. The costume is good, with only minor wear. The wig is soft and supple. Overall, this beautiful little girl would make a great addition to your cabinet collection!
*Please note that the price shown for this doll was calculated by factoring in the doll’s condition carefully. The doll’s condition is described fully in the "Condition" paragraph above. Any damage or flaws are carefully evaluated as to the manner in which they may reduce the retail value of this item. Unless there is some major issue we overlooked in the condition report, we decline to entertain any proposals for price reductions due to a less than perfect condition report. Most dolls that are over 100 years old will have encountered issues over the years and perfection is rare when it comes to antiques.
