To go with yesterday's lemon meringue, some peach sorbet! This dear girl is the sweetest confection, with brown eyes as rich as chocolate in a rosy face. Soft brown locks frame her cheeks beneath a bonnet like spun sugar. It matches her off-white cotton dress with lace trim, tucks, and a pink ribbon sash. She's even nicknamed "Melitta"- a name that means "honey!"

Edmund Edelmann was a German doll manufacturer, distributor, and doll hospital in the early 1900s, often procuring their bisque socket head molds from the prestigious Armand Marseille, or Schoneau & Hoffmeister. One of their definitive dolls was this adorable “Melitta”, an expressive character. This particular one is found to be on a sweet toddler body, with big chocolate brown eyes, and an open mouth that just shouts “take me home”! She is adorned in a nice dress with lace trim, and a sweet antique original wig in a cute, short style. She’s in great overall condition, so there’s no reason to not add this sweetie to your family!
