Wow, this is just incredible -- having sold quite a few bisque bonnet head dolls in my time, I almost never see bonnet heads in such a grand size! 21" inches is huge for these dolls, as we usually come across them in petite dollhouse sizes at around 7", with the largest going up to maybe 15" tall. This girl is in a league of her own, big enough to stand eye-to-eye with many of your bisque head German and French dollies. A great chunky face gives her unique character, while her bisque is structurally flawless, and she's on a nice antique hand-sewn body that suits her well. Her cotton lace-trimmed costume is a nice touch of elegance to elevate her presentation. She is bound to look fabulous in your collection cabinet. So, parian-lovers, come on out and make this girl your own!

She has a lovely tinted bisque bonnet shoulder head, with lovely crisp modeling and expert painting. Ice blue painted eyes. Tapered brows, a small delicate and puckered mouth, all make up a lovely expression, along with molded curly blonde hair, that comes down in curly bangs over her forehead, and exposing her ears partially. Goldenrod bonnet with pink bow and blue ruffled back. On an antique cloth hand-sewn body, in lovely condition, standing at 21" tall fully.
She is adorned in a white cotton lace-trimmed dress, with a rounded overlaid collar, and a yellow ribbon to go around the waist. Underneath is a white cotton full slip with pink pullstring ties at the collar and waist back, and a matching pair of pantaloons go underneath. She wears wool booties/socks, with blue ribbon ties.
Marks: 7 [back of the plate]
Condition: Generally excellent! The head and plate are absolutely free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. She has a lovely complexion and great modeling and painting of features. The detail put into her face and the bonnet is fabulous. She does have some minor specks here and there, and some rubs to the face, but it's not too noticeable. The antique body is good, with only the most minimal of wear, with individual fingers. The costume is good, with no excuses. Overall, this is a great doll, sure to please the collectors of bonnet heads!
