Does this boy not take your breath away? This Kestner 143 is just the precious kind of boy German doll lovers want to adorn their collection with. The desirability of the 143 is no secret, and I have a few of my own in my collection, and I couldn't imagine letting them go! Just look at that adoring face -- how can you resist? A nice bisque socket head is characterized with that unmistakable 143 style, on a nice appropriate antique body in fabulous original condition. His costume makes a nice statement, sure to look great on display. Don't waste a moment, and make him yours!

He has a bisque socket head, with brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, thick feathered brows, and an open mouth with one upper tooth (one missing), and lightly dimpled chin. Wears a nice synthetic wig in a short, brown style with a short ponytail at the end He is on a nice antique and appropriately-sized wood & composition body, fully jointed, with original finish, standing at 14" tall.
He wears a cute brown velvet pair of trousers with matching jacket, made very well, and having great presentation value. Wears a cream cap with a frontal pin. Cream cotton shirt with black bow serving as a necktie, while underneath he wears white socks and black shoes. Cream onesie.

CONDITION: Generally Excellent. Great quality bisque with crisp modeling, expert painting of features, pleasant color and superb modeling of wonderful early character face. NO hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration to the bisque. Missing one upper tooth. Eyes sleep well, and have great pupil alignment. The fully jointed body in good original finish condition. The body is not his original, but it is an appropriately-sized body with great condition. Stringing slightly loose. Both hands have some minor touchup to the fingers, and his right foot has some touchup to some toes. Overall, a great boy!
