An extremely special lady deserves a looking glass to admirer her own beauty, doesn't she? And what better way to give her the gift of her own beautiful image than with so fine a Victorian looking glass as this? A treasure we recently acquired, I thought I'd be keeping this precious piece for my beloved Bru poupee, but unfortunately it doesn't fit in her display- so alas, it is up for grabs! This beautiful Psyche mirror would make a delicious, luxuriant addition to any vignette or display for dolls large or small. I suspect that it was made in Germany or England in the 1890's, of a very fine mahogany. What could be more perfect for that corner spot in the doll display?! Get it before it's gone!

This wonderful mirror measures 17" tall Base diameter 6.25"
Condition: Excellent! A beautiful mirror in very nice condition, there is some wear to the upper right hand corner of the glass, but we must, after all, know that it is an antique. Miniature nails hold the mirror into place (there are some additional holes, but I'm not sure if more nails at one point went into those. Overall, a stunning mirror for the poupee or bebe of refined taste. Our models in the photographs are available for sale separately, you can visit them at RLI-2116 and RLI-1941.
**We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we know how important it is for them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!**
