Prepare your small cabinets and display shelves, for this sweet Simon & Halbig 1078 is ready to take her place in your array of beautiful dolls! She's a great size, and yet has so much love to offer. A bisque head which is free of any hairlines, cracks, or restoration is modeled into a delightful face, with sparkling blue eyes that just say "take me home"! Jointed arms and painted shoes give her a bit of character, while she's adorned in her all-original factory antique costume! This is one cutie you can't afford to let go, but you can definitely afford her, especially if you want to put her on a short layaway plan. There is no reason to say no to inviting this girl into your life.

Bisque socket head with nice modeling and painting, with blue glass sleep eyes, framed by painted lashes, tapered brows, and an open mouth with four upper square-cut teeth, with lightly blushed cheeks. Her ears are pierced, and she wears a blond human hair wig with blue ribbon at the back. She is on her original wood & composition body, standing at 8.5" tall. Jointed elbows, shoulders, and wrists -- these arms may be newer replacements, but fit her well nonetheless, and add some great pose-ability. Painted and modeled shoes with short heels with black socks with red trim -- extensive restoration to these.
She is adorned in her factory-original costume: a white patterned bonnet and matching dress, with white pantaloons with lace trim.
MARKS: 1078 SIMON & HALBIG S & H 2/0 [Back of head]
CONDITION: Generally very good overall. Bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration, with nice modeling and painting. Glass eyes sleep, but some stuffing in the head would do her good, to keep the eyes pressed up against the sockets properly. The feet have extensive restoration, with some attempted reconstruction of the left foot tip. Look closely at the photos to see the restoration quality. The arms seem to be replacements, but look nice and offer some nice poses. The torso has no varnish or paint finish, and is just pure composition surface.
