The Armand Marseille 1894 model has always been a favorite among collectors for her French look and early fine quality of bisque; their reliably gorgeous expression is a recognizable classic for the collector interested in quality. Produced by Marseille for the French market, their wonderful complexions and paperweight eyes make them a sure favorite among doll lovers, and this one is no exception. Dressed to mimic the style of Alice in Wonderland, this pale, blue-eyed girl will make you want to tumble down the rabbit hole with her for exciting new adventures. Still, she's very content with being on display in your collection cabinet as well; but she might just get up to a spot of mischief if you have a Steiff rabbit or Queen of Hearts on display too. So what are you waiting for? She's eager to meet you!
***Yes, she is available on a short layaway! Call us up at 718-859-0901 for payment plan details, or for a personalized description of her beauty! She is also offered with FREE SHIPPING within the USA!***

She stands at 19" tall. She wears a blond curly mohair wig with decorative blue ribbon.

Marks: 1894 AM 6 DEP Made in Germany
Condition: Generally Excellent. This girl has a beautiful bisque head, free of hairlines, cracks, or restoration, and has excellent modeling, offering a beautiful dolly face that truly is alluring. There is a tiny mold irregularity to the forehead. In the back of the head, there is an arc-shaped irregularity next to the mark: this is a result of a scratch to the head before the bisque was fired, while it was still soft -- as such, it is not damage after-the-fact, and no cracks or hairlines stemming from it. The glass eyes are set, yet offer a beautiful sparkling visage. There is a very tiny, nearly-microscopic fracture in the left eye, nearly impossible to see. The body is good, with most of the original finish, although the hands are repainted, and there are some wood fillup areas to the legs.
