A delicious accessory for the lover of all things period appropriate, this gorgeous antique mohair coat is ideal for a large Bebe or Child doll circa 1895. In near mint condition with the most wonderful cream coarded frog closures down the front, I am simply smitten with this fabulous example of one of the hardest to find coat styles available in the late Victorian period. It is just delightful! And it fits this slightly later Kammer & Reinhardt just perfectly. I know this beauty will be gone soon, it's priced to move!
Measurements: Coat: Length: 18.5” – Sleeve Length: 11” – Waist Width: 11”
Condition: Excellent! The coat is in fabulous condition, with no major wear or tear, with a smooth and luxurious finish. Lining is good and intact. The buttons are sturdily sewn and functional. One button is different, but it's not a very obvious change. Overall, a beautiful piece.
**We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we want them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!**
