Coming from c.1885, this piece is an instant classic, bound to up the presentation value of your bisque cherub! We have it here outfitting our adorable big Konig & Wernicke at 22” tall (who is also for sale by the way, at RLI-2036), and we have to say, it looks fantastic! One hundred and four rows of beautiful tucking adorn the front, which is just stunning when paired with the delicate and tiny eyelet lace! The fabric is an extremely delicate and soft cotton, so it drapes very well -- but be careful with it! This dress is for the true lovers of antique bisque babies, so what are you waiting for?

Condition: Generally Excellent. The piece is beautiful from top to bottom, with gorgeous attention in the craftsmanship. A truly stunning piece of antique history, with a nice crisp white color and without any harsh stains or age wear. There are only a few spots where the fabric has pulled and teared a bit, such as on the right shoulder, on the right side behind the lace, and a small spot on the back. **We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we want them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!** 7/20/16
