Behold, all lovers of half-dolls! We have here two all-bisque half doll ladies, and one full-bodied bisque lady in the style of a Greek statue... They are all three truly fitting to be in a museum, or at least the museum of your collection cabinet! Each one has a life and character of their own, and is sure to add something unique to your collection, which is such an important part of the doll-collecting hobby!
First we have a lovely small half doll, all bisque, in a pale pink color with jointed shoulders, and arms held away -- a lovely quality for these half dolls! Thin and delicate painting and modeling characterizes her face, and she has holes at the base for stringing to a pillow or pin cushion. She has a lovely ginger mohair wig. She is marked: 3617 Germany. She measures 3.25" tall. Condition: Excellent! Free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. She does have a small firing flaw to the back of the left shoulder -- it is a firing issue original to the production, due to the red coloring. She is a real beauty!
Next we have a taller half doll lady, with a nice light pink bisque finish, with nice delicate modeling and painting. Blue eyes and blushed features. Dark blond modeled hair with curls. Jointed shoulders and arms held away from the body. She is marked: 3393 Made in Germany. She measures 5" tall. Condition: Excellent! Free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. Lovely painting and modeling of features. An overall beautiful lady, bound to please!
Finally, we have a lovely off-white bisque lady, full bodied on a platform, in the style of a marble Greek statue. Soft modeling, no painting. No marks. She measures 5.5" tall from the bottom of the platform. She has the incised Goebel mark Condition: Excellent! Free of hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration. Lovely soft modeling -- a real beauty!
