It's no surprise that the Handwerck Halbig 109 is seen often in the doll market. They bear the essential, typical qualities that all doll lovers have come to expect from their German bisque bebes -- big, sparkling eyes, expert modeling and painting of features, and an ability to look fabulous in just about any type of costume! This particular girl sports a white cotton dress with lace, has dark curls atop her head, all topped off with a beaming slight smile that will just pull you in! She has so much love to give, and we are sure you won't have any trouble bonding with this beauty!
**This beautiful girl is offered on a short layaway! Feel free to call us at 718-859-0901 to talk about payment options and layaway terms!**
Bisque socket head with beautiful modeling and expert painting, with big brown glass set eyes, framed by painted lashes, thick feathered brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth and a dimpled chin, with lightly blushed cheeks. Bottom of the neck has a glazed finish to the bisque, to allow for less wear when moving the head. Her ears are pierced, and she wears dark brown synthetic wig in banana curls with bangs. She is on her wood & composition body, standing at 22” tall. You can tell it is an earlier model because it doesn't bear the Handwerck marking: has some of the original finish. She wears a white cotton antique dress with lace trim and full collar, a white cotton antique full slip (rough condition), white cotton lace-trim pantaloons, and a white cotton bonnet. Simple white shoes and socks adorn her feet, while a pink bow goes around her waist.
MARKS: 109 -- 12 N DEP Germany H 4
