This big and beautiful Kestner is a great opportunity for the lovers of hefty chunky babies; some can carry a large price tag due to the desirable size, though, and this baby definitely won't break the bank. With her charming cuteness and all antique costume, she is sure to please! She does have some well-hidden damage, which is why she's being made so affordable. She is just delightful!

She has a lovely bisque dome head, with a 14” circumference, and a wonderfully modeled expression, lending itself to a lovely character face, with deep dimples. Brown glass sleep eyes with painted upper & lower lashes, and feathered flyaway brows, and an open mouth with two upper teeth and bisque tongue. She is on her original five-piece composition baby body. Stands at 20.5" tall. She wears a lovely original antique costume, starting with a white cotton baby gown, with lace trim and blue insertion ribbon on the beck, and a white cotton broderie anglaise bonnet with ribbon ties. Underneath goes a white cotton slip and pantaloons with lace trim, and a pair of crochet booties. It must be noted, and as seen in the pictures, that the doll's costume wasn't removed; this is because the original cotton gown is extremely delicate and form-fitting, and it would likely rip upon removal, which we don't want to risk! She wears a blond vintage synthetic wig in a short style atop her head.

Condition: As seen in the provided flashlight photo, there is a restored portion near the right cheek, expertly touched up to make it invisible in normal lighting. Otherwise, the bisque head is free of any further damage or restoration. The modeling is sweet and crisp, with a great expression. The paint is smooth and excellent, with no pesky chips or rubs to detract. The stringing on the body is nice and tight. The glass eyes sleep well. The hands have some paint touch up, but overall, it's a great baby with a great presentation; the all original costume is in great condition too -- just don't tear it if you want to remove it upon receiving her!
