Mmmm... All of those ribbons! All of that frothy net lace trim in box pleats! We know you haven't seen another bonnet like this in quite a while- because they only come along in this excellent condition once in a blue moon. Notice the fine elements like the cream on cream silk embroidery, the fine silk ribboning, silk lining and thick cotton batting. Even the original silk ribbon ties are in quite good condition! But what really makes this bonnet stand out are the exquisite ribbon rosettes at the crown, crafted from multiple loops of silk ribbon. We are offering this beautiful bonnet as a part of our *Stocking Stuffer* line of dolls, accessories, and costume pieces- delightful trifles under $500, that would make wonderful presents this season for those you love (who love dolls) and your very favorite dolls themselves! Our lovely model is our beautiful incised Depose Jumeau (available still in our shop.)
~We are offering this sweet bonnet on layaway! Take up to three months to pay for this darling bonnet. It ships for free in the US!~
Measurements: Head circumference: (approximately) 18.5" Ties: ~6"
Condition: Generally excellent! The exterior of the bonnet is in wonderful shape (virtually mint for a 120 year old bonnet!). The interior has some minor silk loss (particularly on the left side,) yet there is no shattering of the lining. A remarkable accessory in excellent condition for its age, this is one of those bebe articles that collectors of the finest costume pieces should consider carefully.

**We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we want them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!**
