Here we have a lovely five-piece set of antique pewter dollhouse miniatures: a three-headed candlestick, a goblet, an incense burner, creamer vessel, and a bucket. Note that the incense burner is NOT pictured, but IS included... Of German manufacture, from circa 1908, these soft metal pieces will be sure to add a new level of class and elegance to your doll furnishing. Each piece is laden with intricacies and details, from the scalloped-edge on the goblet base, to the flowery moldings on the bucket exterior, to the diamond cutouts and small chain links on the incense burner. The smallest piece, the creamer, stands at 1.4" tall, while the biggest, the goblet, is just under 3". Due to the nature of the pewter, such pieces are very malleable and easily prone to damage, making it difficult for many of them to survive over the years. This set is all in excellently-preserved condition, retaining a lovely metallic sheen and all of the intricate original details -- truly a beautiful set to add to the collection.
Condition: Excellent. The pewter bears its original rich, silvery tone, with intricately and crisp detailing. The incense burner is missing one of the three little ringlets on the cap, but it is minor and still sits well. Overall, a fantastic set, in fantastic condition.
