What an excellent piece we have here. Originating from circa 1885, in the earlier days of the antique Bebe dolls, this full slip is constructed from a white supple cotton, with a lovely drape and exquisite silky texture -- the softest antique cotton I've ever had the pleasure to touch. Lovely smocking makes up the bib of the slip, and decorates the cuffs of the long sleeves as well, giving it a great flexibility, making it just that much easier to dress and undress your doll of choice, and lessening the chance of rips and stress to the fabric. Six flat mother of pearl buttons act as closure in the back. Any doll of your choosing will instantly benefit from this lovely piece -- see for yourself, as our very own 26" Etienne Denamur wears it with such grace and class in the photos. Note: The Etienne Denamur is currently available in my shop! She's a real beauty, and this piece will look just wonderful on her. Look her up in my shop using the following ID number: RLI-1226.

**We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we know how important it is for them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!**LBS
