For the most elegant and classy of your antique girls, we offer this lovely antique burgundy silk topcoat. With its dark evening style that rich charmeause, it will instantly add panache to the outfit of your favorite doll. Circa 1907, this beautiful coat is wonderfully constructed by hand with simple thin black stitching accents the edges, while the wide curved-edged-fold-over-collar creates a sumptuous silhouette. But the surprises keep coming as underneath we find a touch of subtle green plaid pattern. How much sweeter can it get? Not much!
Sleeve length 6"
Condition: The coat is in excellent condition, with no excuses. The color is rich and has not faded over the years, bearing its original presentation. No pesky stains or moth holes. For a silk antique piece, it is truly pristine, and will be a treasure in your clothing collection.

**We now ship EVERY SINGLE ONE of our antique costume pieces in archival, museum quality, acid free tissue paper. We store them in an acid free, climate controlled environment, because we want you to get a textile that has been frozen in time. As curators of these antiques, we want them to be as fresh for the next generation of students and enthusiasts as they were for us. This is factored into the price of our merchandise. We hope you can enjoy these rare finds for years to come, and we want to make sure that when they reach you, they are ready for careful love and display if you so chose, or to be stored in a destruction-free paper. Happy shopping!**
